Applaws wanted to launch an engaging new TVC for their extensive range of cat food, partnering with Twice Pictures to bring this vision to life. The commercial features a charming cat on its journey through various areas in a home, following a scent trail that ultimately leads to the delicious Applaws food waiting at the end.
So what did Praxima do?
Twice is an exceptional team that Praxima has had the pleasure of supporting around the globe on a range of captivating and demanding shoots. We were delighted to come aboard this one as a dedicated production partner, providing a Director of Photography, a skilled supporting crew, and all the necessary equipment needed to help bring this commercial to life with precision and creativity.
In prep for the shoot, a detailed location tech-recce was needed where a previs film was created using a cuddly toy in place of the actual cat. This clever approach allowed us to demonstrate the creative vision clearly to the end client, facilitating final decisions regarding shots and camera angles with confidence.
Filming with animals requires patience sometimes, but fortunately, our lead feline star was more than up to the challenge and everyone got home as estimated! No overruns!
