This ambitious project starring TNT Sports pundit Ally McCoist expanded from an orignal idea of 4 scripts to a total of 12 distinct and individual films. Crafted to reinforce Motorway’s role as a principal sponsor of the sports channel, appearing on every national football broadcast across the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, and the European Super Cup.

So what did Praxima do?
Praxima came on board as the full production partner to Warner Bros Discovery, who were in charge of delivering the creative for Motorway. Our role was to coordinate the planning and shooting of all 12 scripts, making sure everything captured was handed over safely and seamlessly to the post-production team at Platform.
We assigned a lead producer and a production manager from Praxima to keep tabs on every moving part. Together with WBD, we hunted down the ideal location for our football-themed shoot and mapped out how to capture everything within just two days alongside our celebrity talent.
Behind the scenes, we assembled the dream team, handpicking experts across every department needed to bring the scripts to life. We even successfully pitched one of our own cinematographers to lead the visual delivery exactly as the client envisioned.
Cue plenty of time spent location scouting, hunting down all types of wardrobe and props, plenty of camera tests, castings, costume fittings, script rehearsals and tech recces before we were ready to roll.
Then came the whirlwind: a packed 2-day shoot with a cast and crew of 82 people, all giving their absolute best. Praxima took charge of everyone’s welfare and safety, partnering with trusted catering services, location managers, and dedicated medics and security teams to keep things running smoothly, we even managed to convince the gods of the sky to keep things dry for us, which during a British summer is nothing short of a miracle!
And of course, what’s a victory without a little celebration? We made sure there was a cake to mark the end of a very successful shoot.
